Welcome!

2nd Chance Resale and Consignment is an owner operated upscale resale shop specializing in new and gently used children's clothes, infant furniture and equipment, toys, books, Maternity items and all the others things you need when you have children. We are conveniently located in Eden Square Shopping( off route 40 and rt7) in the Bear, Delaware.

Since children outgrow the clothing so quickly, it is possible to find new-looking, quality brand names Gap, Gymboree, Ralph Lauren, Old Navy, and many others for the fraction of their original costs. Our children's sizes range from 0 to 14 for both boys and girls. We also carry a nice selection of accessories and shoes to complete an entire wardrobe. We can supply all of your children needs.

2nd Chance Resale also has new items too! From time to time we get great deals on Department and Speciality Store buyouts.

Our goal is to serve you personally and as a family. Children have an area to play while parents and grandparents browse the great selections.

After ten years of directing successful MOPS Seasonal resales, we wanted families to benefit from the resale opportunity everyday. We look forward to meeting you and providing you and your children years of resale fun!!!!!

CPSC Clarifies Requirements of New Children's Product Safety Laws Taking Effect in February

"The new law requires that domestic manufacturers and importers certify that children's products made after February 10, 2009 meet all the new safety standards and the lead ban. Sellers of used childrens products, such as thrift stores and consignment stores, are not required to certify that those products meet the new lead limits, phthalates standard or new toy standards." - U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission
