Buying and Consigning
Selling to Us:
- Keep outfits together
- Check ahead for stains, rips, missing buttons, broken zippers, etc...
- Remember, we buy seasonally. Generally, we buy:
- Spring/Summer clothing from February to July
- Fall/Winter clothing from August to January
- Please use a container or laundry basket to bring your items in
- We do not accept items in trash bags - NO TRASH BAGS!!! PLEASE
Consignment Terms:
- Consignment period for 60 days
- Items are paid out at 50/50 for the 1st 30 days and 60/40 for the 2nd 30 days
- Prices are set by the store
- All consignors are paid at the end of contract but balances can be used as store credit during the consignment period
- Consignor balances are valid for 6 months after expiration of the 60 day consignment period
- For baby equipment, furniture and specialty items, we offer a 60 day consignment or a cash buyout at a reduced amount.
- For clothes, toys and accessories, we generally offer a cash buyout or store credit
Drop-off Procedure:
- Drop-off days are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (Please call ahead for items we are accepting)
- Items dropped off for review are to be picked up the same day. Any items not picked up within 2 business days become property
of 2nd Chance Resale and all profits forfeited.
Brands We Prefer and Most Wanted:
Cribs, high chairs, changing tables, gates, outdoor equipment,
swings, bassinets. Items must meet all federal safety requirements.
Car seats must be 4 years old or newer.
